Since its launch on November 1, 2019, Apple TV + has had an ever-increasing catalog of series and movies. Battleship Greyhound is the latest addition, and must probably accept being one of the highlights in the collection, along with the opening series The Morning Show and the architectural series Home .

JBL has just released three new Club Series headphones. I've had the top model Club One on a solid test round.

In March, Huawei announced a slightly simplified version of the smart watch GT 2. We have had the Huawei Watch GT 2e on test for a few weeks. One of the agendas has been to check how it can manage in the shadow of an Apple Watch. Or maybe it's the other way around ...?

American HiFi enthusiast and writer Don Lindich has invented the pickup timer. I've tested if it works.

The captivating Netflix miniseries from New York City and Berlin tell a modern version of Ibsen's dollhouse. Except that it takes over where Ibsen ends up with a bang. And then the action is in another time and place.

REVIEW: Bloodride - Roald Dahl on a diet

Written by

On the well-chosen day on Friday 13, Netflix launched the Norwegian series Bloodride. The series travels on paths drawn by an English author with Norwegian ancestry, at a time when the TV world was relatively young.

Amazon has made a remarkable fiction series about Nazi hunters in New York with  Al Pacino in the main role. The series is brilliant and innovative. And a bit problematic.

Freebuds 3 is Huawei's latest creation of fully wireless earbuds. It has been able to measure forces in the enemy ecosystem.

Apple`s Airpods are a very popular product, in fact so sought after that if Apple had separated out Airpods as its own company, rumors tell it would have been the world's approx. 350 largest company. It is no wonder then that there are eventually some imitations around - some that are direct copies, while others are more obviously inspired. Huawei's FreeBuds 3 belong to the latter category, and we have looked into whether they are struggling to match the original or whether it is actually more like Jimi Hendrix's version of All Along The Watchtower , a version that many among us believe far surpasses Bob Dylan's original.

And as a true torture test, Freebuds 3 is allowed to run among arch enemies in an iOS ecosystem, along with the Apple iPhone 11 and Apple Watch 4. This is an arena where a variant of Airpods very easily could walk in on autopilot as a kind of default value, at least if completely wireless pods on a rod ise on the shopping list.

Our unique overview over stereo amplifiers with HT bypass has been object of a major update. We have been trawling the market and found more than 150 new models added.

Happy New Year and Happy New Decade! I thought that in the New Year, I would have lots of time. No such luck.

With extremely heavy-duty loudspeakers, I sometimes wonder if I have painted myself into a corner. When it takes around 70 watts to reach the 96 dB limit in listening position, it is not easy to obtain amplifiers that can be sent as normal surface mail. So my reference amplifier has not been challenged for some years. That has suddenly come to an end...

TEST: NCH 700 - Bose challenge Bose

Written by

After a period with one of the best noise-canceling earphones on the market, Quiet Comfort 35 II, an entirely new model arrives - the 700. Can this defend a pricetag that is more than a thousand NOK up?

TEAC launched a New turntable earlier this summer. It has so many interesting assets that I fell for the temptation to take a review.

AlsyVox is a new and exciting addition to the Scandinavian speaker flora. And it was this loudspeaker that urged me taking a break from family and zoo this summer day towards the end of the holiday.

Two years ago I reviewed Arendal Sound's newcomer 1723 Monitor. These giants now have a smaller brother - 1723 Bookshelf S - and it became impossible to refuse the offer of a test of these as well.

In the spring, Denon launched a trio of new headphones, in a series they call the Global Cruiser. We have tested the top model among these.

Where do the music end and the listening begin?

Written by

Our perception of reality is a highly individual matter: every day our mind is occupied by trying to create coherence between an unimaginable number of fragments brought to us through our different senses. It is a bit like a game: you're given certain pieces but how you combine them is up to you.
