The Nu-Vista series from Musical Fidelity's has a long tradition of presenting temptations, and a year or so ago there was a renewal when the integrated amplifier Nu - Vista 800 was launched, along with two other amplifiers from the same manufacturer. We wrote about these three tenors here.
A real heavyweight amplifier that provides over 300 watts per. channel, and weighs around 40 kg dressed only in stockings. And like all other Nu-Vista products before, we find nuvistor tubes also in Nu-Vista 800.
This we do of course also in the Nu-Vista CD Player that is being launched these days. This CD player is a natural partner to the integrated amplifier, and Musical Fidelity claims that it is designed to have the exact same sound characteristics as Nu - Vista 800.
Nu-Vista CD player is also a digital hub, equipped with two optical- and two coax digital inputs. That jitter is at a very low level, we have to believe the manufacturer when they say iso. That it has both RCA - and XLR - outputs, however, is easily verifiable - the same applies to the information that Nu - Vista CD Player have both Coax - and optical digital output.
