Just south of the German city of Karlsbad, south west of Germany we find HiFi manufacturer OCTAVE, with Andreas Hoffmann at the helm. For more than 30 years they have produced HiFi-electronics, with emphasis on amplifiers. But they also had the preamplifier Phono, which is a complete, modular phono preamp.

Now they launched the pure phono stage OCTAVE Phono EQ.2, a MM / MC RIAA stage. Separate entrances for MM and MC selected via a switchable at the rear.

The impedance is configurable via four switchable and has a span of 62 to 1000 ohms. Also gain is adjustable, where you can choose between 58, 62, 68 and 72 dB. There is also a subsonic filter on board.
