Naim Uniti

Written by

This weekend the 20-22 of february, the annual Hi-fi show will be held in Brighton. Naim have some exciting news.

Naim has previously released hard drive players, with their Naim HDX. This time they have launched a device that contains an integrated amplifier, CD-player, a tuner for both DAB and FM. But the icing on the cake is that Naim Uniti also has a network player that can stream wirelessly from an UPnP server.

The integrated CD-player should be based on CD5i, while the amplifier is built over a Naim Nait 5i with 2x50W.

An important feature is the large screen in front. This would make the navigation of streaming can be performed without the external display.

Uniti has USB input, which allows you to connect your MP3 player. In addition, it is a separate input for your iPod.

Prices in England are set to 1,995 GBP when it appears on store shelves somewhere in the springtime.
