Phono Signature - new RIAA from Cyrus

Written by

Cyrus has launched a brand new phono stage. Phono Signature sets a new standard for flexibility and ease of use.

It is a great advantage with electronics from Cyrus - you don`t have to receive any major surprises when it comes to design. Half width boxes with relatively large depth is mandatory, and design line has been relatively unchanged since the dawn of time - at least limited to our century.

But what you find inside is a completely different story. And with the new RIAA stage Phono Signature, Cyrus have really been innovative. At least within the exercises flexibility and usability.

First things first, lets start with inputs. 4 freely configurable inputs allow you to connect an equalnumber of turntables simultaneously. Each of the inputs are not locked to MM or MC, this you select yourself.

Further, capacitance and resistance calibrated individually for each input. And in addition, output shown "live" on the front display. A remote control ensures that all of these settings can be adjusted from Sweet Spot. Is it possible to wish for more? Alternative EQ curves for the really old recordings could of course be nice to have, or alternative RIAA curves.

As with virtually everything from Cyrus, it is possible to upgrade also Phono Signature with external power supply.

Price in England is 1.199 UKP.
