RECORD NEWS - Pour Mi - New hybrid multichannel SACD from Lawo Classics

The Norwegian record label Lawo Classics has released a multi-channel SACD containing music of Olivier Messiaen and Claire Delbos. The title is Pour Mi, and is given the release date is December 2nd in 2013.

It is very nice when relatively small labels comes with productions in high-resolution format, especially in multi channel. For Lawo Records, this is the eighth in a series of SACD-releases as what we can see, most of which have a multi-channel audio track.

Musicians in this release are Signe Bakke on piano, and Liv Elise Nordskog - soprano.

Composers are French Olivier Messiaen, and the far less known Claire Delbos. Or Louise Justine Delbos, which was her birth name. They were both French and she is claimed to be Olivier Messiaen's first great love. And he called her Mi - as in Pour Mi.
