Arcam FMJ A49 - New topclass amplifier from Arcam.

Arcam launches new top model of integrated amplifiers at CES. The name is FMJ A49.

Arcam has launched several new products at CES this year. FMJ A49 is one of them, and a new top of the line integrated amplifiers. At the same time, we get an impression that FMJ-A49 is in a higher league than the previous top models. Both the size and the specified effect on 2x200W into 8 ohms underpin this. There is talk of Class-G power amps that have 50W pure class A at the bottom.

A49 is fully balanced, and an effect that doubles into 4 ohms testify to an ample sized power supply. It also has built-in power supply prepared for their Arcam DACs in its rSeries.

We do not know the price in Norway, but expect that it will be somewhere in the 30s.
