Lejonklou is a small company run by the enthusiast Fredrik Lejonklou. He previously visited Hifi & Musik as a writer, has also been heavily textured as a Linn enthusiast, and has for years been running an English-language forum with the Linn-based  Tune-dem testplatform.

Fredrik Lejonklou a few years ago worked with modifications and extensions (RIAA-cards) to Linn products, before he stepped to the production of independent products. But also in the names of his earliest products shines his mental relationship with Linn products through, they are cheated out of your nose of Linn's vocabulary. Dealer List in Sweden and internationally is also dominated by shops that have Linn product portfolio.

As of 2013, it is developed a series of enthusiast products.

- GAIO RIAA-step

- Tundra Monoblock

- Tundra stereo effrektforsterker

- Slipsik (MM) RIAA-step

The freshest of these, ie MM RIAA stage GAIO, which came on the market this autumn, having been developed during the summer of 2013, some parallel with the development of a new preamp.

GAIO is the Latin term for Jay, but I assume it is otherwise relatively few audiophile similarities between the bird and the RIAA stage. RIAA stage succeeds Kinki, which was developed in 2009. GAIA will be priced slightly higher than Kinki.

All components of GAIO are individually selected, measured and adjusted for each sample to get optimal performance. Power-supply is developed over a long time to be completely silent. Lejonklou also emphasize the cabinet, which is damped with bitumen.

Recommended prices in Europe:

Sweden: SEK 4800
United Kingdom: GBP 480
Euroland: EUR 570

It is not given any retailer in Norway, but the product can be ordered directly from Lejonklou via webshop.
