Three new Custom Install loudspeakers from B&W

Bowers & Wilkins launches three new custom Install loudspeakers. We are talking about InWall speakers CWM Cinema 7 and InCeeling speakers CCM Cinema 7 and CCM632.

Bowers & Wilkins has in addition to all their series of conventional HiFi speakers a wide range of speakers for Custom Install. Now they expand this range to include three new models, where one is for wall installation and two for ceiling mounting.

 

 

B&W CWM Cinema 7

InWall speaker CWM Cinema 7 is the largest of the new models, and is particularly intended for a role as a center or front speaker in a discreet home theater setup.

It has a 2½-way construction, which consists of a 25mm aluminum dome tweeter, 2 pieces of 100mm Kevlar midrange / bass, and 2 pcs. 100mm elements with paper membrane for bass. This provides a frequency range of 45 to 55,000 Hz, and a sensitivity of 88DB.

 

 

 

 

 

B&W CCM Cinema 7

CCM Cinema 7 is the larger of the two new InCeeling speakers. It's a two-way design, where 25mm tweeters will be mounted centric in front of a 180mm bass / midrange unit. Also here sensitivity is  88dB, while frequency range is 45-50000 Hz.

CCM Cinema 7 can optionally be fitted with round or square front grill.

 

 

 

B&W CCM632

CCM632 are the smallest models, and are also intended for ceeling mounting. It has a 75mm full-range element, which B&W clam provides certain advantages, by releasing that a typical center-mounted tweeter element disturbing midrange / woofer.

The frequencty range is naturally characterized by being a full-range element, and is rated at 100 to 17,000 Hz. Declared sensitivity is 84dB.

Also CCM632 have front grille with optional form between round and square.

 

 

The new models will be available around late summer / early fall.
