Roksan Kandy K3 - new stereo sets from Roksan
Written by Karl Erik SyltheRoksan release a new stereo set in the Kandy series. The name is K3.
The traditional English company Roksan has produced HiFi for almost 30 years, and started with the turntable Xerxes in 1985. Kandy series came in 2000, and were the first components of what they characterize as Lifestyle series.
K3 has been pre-announced for a while, and now it's for real. Stereo set consists of the integrated amplifier Kandy K3 Integrated Amplifier and Kandy K3 CD Player .

Kandy C3 Integrated Amplifier follows predecessor K2 having separate bypass input, going simultaneously right into our unique overview of amplifiers with HT bypass. This is otherwise an amplifie delivering 2x140 watts into 8 ohms / 2x220W into 4 ohms. In addition to 5 regular line inputs we find a MM input, besides the previously mentioned bypass input.
But the integrated amplifier can also offer wireless connection. Bluetooth or aptX make this a modern communication center, while a match weight of 14kg gives the impression of heavy HiFi.

Kandy K3 CD Player builds on its predecessor K2, and upgraded electronics shall follow Roksan give more "analog" sound. It benyttesPCM1798 - 24bit / 192kHz DACs from Texas Instruments. CD player K3 has both XLR and RCA outputs, plus optical and RCA digital mischief. Something has conservative Roksan not including digital inputs.

Kandy K3 is designed in London and handcrafted in Germany.
We do not know the price in Norway yet, but in England is the price is approx 1250 UKP for each of the components, which comes in Charcoal, opium or anthracite finish.
Importer in Norway is Moet Audio.
