The Isis - new amplifier series from the ultimate high-end manufacturer Analog Domain.
Written by Karl Erik SyltheHaving had only monoblocks in its range, Analog Domain is launching a slightly more affordable amp line in The Isis.
Angel Despotov was beating really fast through a high status, after he started the company Analog Domain Audio GmbH in the outskirts of Munich in early 2010. He has focused on the ultimate claim to everything that is produced, both in terms of sound and design. This has led to products in the absolute ultimate high-end. The four mono blocks DX9 series have power ranging from 500W/8ohm to the top of the range Apollo, measuring 4.000W into 8 ohms. All effects doubles into 4 ohms.
Angel Despotov is clear about that analog sound gives the best result still, and believes that the class D is not quite ripe for extreme high-end to high power yet.

The new series The Isis consist of stereo components, and comes in three different configurations:
- Isis M75D, Integrated amplifier with step attenuator and remote control
- Isis M75A, Integrated amplifier with linear attenuator and manual operation.
- Isis m75P, Stereo power amplifier.
All amplifiers are bridgeable and has an effect on the 2x250W 8ohm / 2x400W in 4 ohms. Bridged they provide a power of 500W at 8 ohms and 1000W at 4 ohms.

The new series The Isis gets an official launch in HighEnd in Munich in May 2014, while commercial deliveries will start in March.
There is currently no distributor in Norway.
