RECORD NEWS: Waves & Interruption - New Pure Audio Blu-ray from 2L.
Written by Karl Erik SyltheBjørn Bolstad Skjelbred has composed the music for the upcoming release Waves & Interruption, published on 2L.
The music on Waves & Interruption is composed Between 2001 and 2013, and has melodic percussion instruments as key elements. The composer Bjørn Bolstad Skjelbred is also a pianist, and grew up with classical music as the main target. As a composer, he has written more than sixty works, for a crew of varying size. The orchestral work "Shadows of an Anthem II" will be premiered by Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2014.
The musicians on Waves & Interruption is Eric the Red - marimba and vibraphone, Ida Bryhn - viola , Tom Ottar Andreassen - flutes and Thomas Kjekstad - guitar.
This time it is a single-disc release on Pure Audio Blu-ray. DTS HD MA in 5.1 24bit/192kHz complemented by stereo LPCM in 24/192. Via mShuttle you also get access to download in FLAC 24/96 in addition to MP3.
