Argon Audio explores new Octaves.

Hi-Fi klubben`s own brand Argon launch a new wireless speaker series. The name is Argon Octave

Active speakers are not new to Argon. They already have a few models that sort under the category computer speakers, but based on wired connection to the source.

That's where the new series Octave differs from its predecessors. All models feature aptX as wireless Bluetooth audio streaming. This is in addition to optical and analog inputs. A USB port on the two largest models allows for charging mobile loudspeaker.

 

 

There are three models in the new Octave series. The smallest Octave 3A at 1798, - NOK for the pair is fitted with a 0.75 "soft dome Neodymium magnet ,and a 2.75" Kevlar cone bass midrange. Amplifier inside 3A is provided to 2x20 watts and operates in class D.

 

 

In Argon Octave 4A is 0.75 "replaced by a 1", and a 4 "takes care of the midrange bass via an amplifier 2x35 watts. The price tag is 2298, -. If you go up to Octave 5A we are talking about an amplifier at 2x55 Watts, 4 "is replaced by a 5.25". The price for 5A is 2498, -.

 

 

All models are available in black and white finish and is expected to be in the shelves fit for fight as the peak of the Christmas shopping starts in early December.
