Theta Casablanca in two new incarnations.

Written by

Theta launch two new editions of its series with highend AV preamps. And both are at the forefront when it comes to race of 3D sound, with Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D and DTS: X.

Casablanca is an AV preamplifier which was launched 19 years ago, and that has been object to continously ongoing renewals. And one of the hallmarks of Theta has always been that their products have been upgradeable, so you don`t have to discard an expensive AV preamplifier because it is outdated.

Theta Casablanca IVa is a 12-channel AV preamplifier, and it is the first decoder that announces support for all three 3D audio formats thatnow gradually has entered the arena. Dolby Atmos is widely known for having a flying start last summer, when it was announced implemented in virtually all the major Japanese AV manufacturers. Audo-3D arrived slightly delayed at the arena for home theater segment, but is now available for all relevant models from DM group - Denon and Marantz. Finally DTS entered the arena just before the end of the year, while they announced that a wide variety of manufacturers of AV equipment has joined the DTS: X. And Theta Casablanca is the first manufacturer to announce support for all three formats. And all previous models of Casablanca will be able to be upgraded to Casablanca IVa. This model has a price in the US of $ 17,995.00, and will be available in Q2.

Casablanca V is a monster AV preamplifier, and processor for 24 channels. A discovery for those who really want to take Dolby Atmos out of the very high altitudes, in other words. It also launched a brand new 6-channel DAC that can be installed in Casablanca V, one DAC with name Xtreme D-3. It launched a 12 channel stand-alone edition of Xtreme D-3 to be combined with Casablanca Casablanca V. This model has a price in the US to $ 21,995.00.
